Yahoo's GeoCities will be closing on October 29th this year. There are hundreds, if not thousands, of websites hosted on GeoCities that contain crucially important information for people researching their Jewish ancestry.

This information should not be lost, and JewishGen will ensure that the data and information will remain accessible for generations to come.
